One-way charter is the type of cruising holiday that implies embarking in one charter base and disembarking in another one.

The most popular and requested one-way route is from Split area (Split, Kastela, Seget Donji, Trogir) to the south of Croatia, particularly Dubrovnik and vice – versa. One-way charter may be arranged from other bases as well, but only upon clients’ request.

This is particularly important because not all yachts are available for such charters, only a limited number of boats previously selected by the charter company itself.
However, some of the yachts may be offered to clients for a one-way charter upon their request even though they weren’t initially intended for one-way. In those cases, duration of the charter may be shortened if the chartered yacht must be returned to the main marina by Saturday.
You will then be asked to disembark by Friday morning so that a skipper has enough time to return the boat to the main marina. However, if the next charter is also one-way, you won’t have to disembark earlier because the yacht isn’t required to be returned to the main base.

In case you don’t possess a valid sailing license or you don’t feel confident enough to handle the yacht yourself, you may consider renting a skippered or fully crewed yacht. With a skipper or a professional crew on board, you will not have to worry about navigation and returning the boat to the main marina and you can completely relax and enjoy every moment of your sailing holiday in Croatia.

When it comes to one-way charters, you should also bear in mind that these types of charters usually entail a one-way fee, which may vary on the size of the yacht and the distance between embarkation and disembarkation points.
